Uncanny Dodge/Sneak Attacks.. when?

Thanks for all the input, now I think I finally see the issues behind why the rules say what they do on this. Sometimes, I can't go along with the rule unless I see the reason behind it.

I just was hung up on the "They don't see you" part, and not thinking as if the rogue was a stage magician, or something along those lines, instead of pulling a penny out of your ear, they stick a dagger in it, or some such

Now I need to think about homebrewing a " Unearthly Dodge" feat
