One of the things I like about the d20 system is that it's a universal system, which means that if one's so inclined to they can mix and match d20 games. For example, you could have an X-Wing fighter firing on a Terrascue or have your superhero character from Mutants & Masterminds could go through a space/time warp and end up in the Forgotten Realms.
With that in mind, that could open things up for some very unconventional uses of d20 products when playing the game.
One such such book is the Stronghold Builder's Guidebook. It lists many enchantements for one's home. But with these enchantments, you could have some very unconventional places to hold up in.
For example, in a Modern setting such as Urban Arcana, you could have an entire apartment complex enchanted. Or one could use those enchantments on a Zepplin for a pulp setting such as Forbidden kingdoms. In star wars you could use those enchantments on say a Star Destroyer (sounds sacreligious but who says you can't mix the two settings? then again is something for an individual gm to decide).
And there'd be many other unconventional uses to boot. What would you use it for?
