DSR3 Veiled Alliance (2e)

Ghost: ?
Portynx, The Shadow Tree, Ghost Defiler 12, Incorporeal Defiler, Duplicitous Irrational Ghost, Thinking Undead: Perhaps because he had died trying to drain life from others to nourish his own, Portynx in death had grown fond of the essence of the trees of life. He developed his taste in Lalali-Puy's own orchard near the palace, but the templars discovered and expelled him.
Zombie Made of Ash, Grotesque Creature: ?
Fiery Skeleton, Grotesque Creature: ?
Crimson Knight: ?
Clennay the Impetuous, Spirit: In Raam they say that hunters from Gulg spotted Clennay and hunted him for sport during a savage Red Moon Night. Clennay fled to safety in Raam (conspicuously avoiding Nibenay, for unknown reasons) and founded the Alliance there. This account makes no mention whatsoever of fetish magic. Instead, it claims that Clennay died in heroic battle against the sorcerer-queen's templars, his spirit journeyed to Gulg to curse the wizards there for their cowardice, and the repentant wizards founded an Alliance to avoid his curse.
Zwuun, Ancient Spiritual Force, Fickle Creature, Manifestation of Collective Consciousnesses, Cloud of Steam: Hundreds of years ago, a cadre of powerful wizards devised a method to tie their life forces into the natural energies generated by the Plain of Burning Water. After the wizards died, their spirits lived on, linked to the hot springs. The Alliance knows the manifestation of their collective consciousness as the zwuun.
However, the mingling of spirits within the zwuun has resulted in an inconsistent personality.

Undead: ?
Undead War Beetle: Strom Rarvin owns and operates Tyr's largest wagon manufacture and repair facility. Two large buildings south of the Brickyards are used by Strom and his two sons. The Rarvins are well known for their workmanship. Their shop produces wagons of every description from small open wagons to huge armored argosies. Fine chariots are crafted here as well. Strom even once constructed an undead war beetle (see the Dragon Kings hardcover, p. 31) as a special order for Kalak's necromancer, Dote Mai Payne.
Faria, Fael, Greedy Spirit: The greedy spirit of Faria would not rest after death and has returned as a fael, a gluttonous form of undead that hungers for the excesses in life (food, drink).
Fael, Gluttonous Form of Undead That Hungers for the Excesses in Life: ?
Revenant: Not long ago, a group of slaves were hidden in the underceller away from Kalak's ziggurat press gangs. Soon after, Migena's business was seized (a high-ranking templar owned a similar business and this tradesperson was hurting the templar's profits) and closed. All of the slaves trapped in the underceller slowly perished. Three became revenants, desiring only the death of the merchant who sealed their fate.
Alie Melco, Revenant Half-Elf Gladiator 3: Not long ago, a group of slaves were hidden in the underceller away from Kalak's ziggurat press gangs. Soon after, Migena's business was seized (a high-ranking templar owned a similar business and this tradesperson was hurting the templar's profits) and closed. All of the slaves trapped in the underceller slowly perished. Three became revenants, desiring only the death of the merchant who sealed their fate.

All of the slaves trapped in the underceller slowly perished. Three became revenants, desiring only the death of the merchant who sealed their fate.

Iamb, Revenant Mul Slave: Not long ago, a group of slaves were hidden in the underceller away from Kalak's ziggurat press gangs. Soon after, Migena's business was seized (a high-ranking templar owned a similar business and this tradesperson was hurting the templar's profits) and closed. All of the slaves trapped in the underceller slowly perished. Three became revenants, desiring only the death of the merchant who sealed their fate.
Migena had promised him a chance to become a gladiator. She lied.
Kalak, Ghost: Rumors whisper of Kalak's ghost, seeking to remain anchored in the land of the living by siphoning the thoughts and memories of the living around him.
Portek, Dwarven Banshee, More Unusual Resident, Guardian, Creature Haunted By His Own Past: Many years ago, a dwarf by the name of Portek was given a job defending the cellars of the establishment. The defense of the cellars became his focus. One hot night, a group of elven raiders broke into the cellars via a secret passage from UnderTyr, slew Portek, and stole casks of the proprietor's wine. Portek now is cursed to defend the remaining casks left behind during the raid for eternity.
