Underdark - anyone has it?

Saw it today at my FLGS. So lloking on comments from people who has the book. Is it any good?
If yes, why? If no, why?

Awesome book! Really helped me define my Underdark better that just a big collection of caves and tunnels filled with drow and assorted monsters.

While previous editions have touched upon the Underdark peripherally, I do not recall one really going in depth with it. This does and has inspired me enough to change the plans for the campaign I am running. Now, my campaign is definitely going to go underground to the Underdark around paragon levels..

There were quite a few books on it. Two in 2e (one with Drizzt's name on it) and probably two in 3e. At least one.

I have two questions.

1) Does it go into detail about the Fomorians in the Feydark? Because aside from "Yeah they got fortresses down there", I know diddly about the Fomorians' setup, plans, etc.

2) What monsters are there? Is it like MotP/Plane Below, in that there's not a lot in there?

Compared to Plane Below, Underdark has more depth?

Plane Below has too many pages wasted with grid maps and small "delves" I'll never used, Underdark goes in that direction?

Which ones? I have owned and read most WoTC books since 89, and I just recall anyone that provided more hooks and places than this one. But I do tend to forget and it might just be that.

There've been a few Underdark products over the years, but I haven't read most of them. However, based on what I've read, I too got the impression that the Underdark was "just" a bunch of caves. I get the impression that this most recent excursion into the depths below will more firmly tie the Underdark into the mythology of the D&D world and give it a "reason" for existing.

Now, answer my questiosn.

Unless my mind plays tricks on me, I will rate this Underdark higher than any of the linked books, when it comes to info on the Underdark as a place to explore/campaign.

Regarding your questions:
1) there is a couple of pages about a Fomorian kingdom called Inbharann (havent read it yet)

2) Not many new monsters. 17 pages, but most are new versions of known monsters.
