I'm sorry guys... but I never got any of the Forgotten Realms 2nd edition stuff. I know you folks have all the old FR 2nd edition books, but we only played 2nd edition using the MM, PHB and DMG.... I got into FR with 3rd edition.

Therefore, right now any new FR book is my bread and butter... I guess it doesn't matter to me if it's rehashed info... but at least all the info would be updated to 3E.

If anything, I'd LIKE it if they regurgitated some old FR stuff. I don't feel like having to go back and buy old 2nd edition books to read about history and storylines and locations and such.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'd rather WotC use their limited resources to come up with new material and not regurgitate old stuff.

And update location descriptions to 3e? How does that work?

Olgar: Yeah, you're right. Thanks for that. I missed that little "80 pages" blurb in the mess of new feats, spells, and prestige classes. Hopefully it doesn't vomit forth old info.

I notice the [censored] creature falls alphabetically between "chitine" and "drow." My first guess would be "cloaker," but why would they feel the need to censor the cloaker for now? Are cloaker PCs going to be the next big thing?

But if [censored] aren't Illithid, they are missing as race from the book, and still they have a PrC, a feat, equipment and a template...

So, to have more info about them, we have to wait... Illithiad 3e!!!!! (well, actually 3.5...)

Because WotC have shown they simply dont care about older information and if WotC rewriites Menzo entry as being "the central area of Eilistraee faith in the realms for the last 1000 years" I would not take that as a error but a natural change of the realms.

WotC figure out they sell things only by the logo, not the content so why sould the FR line be any diferent?
