Underwater Campaigns

Aeolius has been running an underwater Greyhawk campaign called Beneath the Pinnacles of Azor'alq (BPAA) for some time now. He has a web page for the campaign at http://www.lobi.com/campaigns/bpaa and I expect he will be by sometime with good advice.

This could be just me but I can't see an Underwater campaign doing anything but turning into a Spongebob Squarepants living in Bikini Bottom type scenario.

Where you forget you're underwater until someone does something that blow a bubble or something.

In my BPAA campaign, there is a race of humanoid sponges known as gorgonians. Envision a pixie-sized creature with sea fans for wings. They were created, along with skumdusters and plasmantas, to maintain the health of a local reef.
