Unlimited Doom

Supernatural ability?

The feat does not actually say anything about the spell Doom, I just used that as a comparison, it actually is more of a generic fear effect that causes the Shaken condition. Would this be considered a supernatural ability? It does make it more useful since then it would not provoke an AoOpp and SR would have no effect.

The feat does not mention provoking so I imagine it is a supernatural ability.

One interesting feature of the Doom spell (or any ability that enshakens opponents) is the synergy with the usually-sucky 'Demoralize Opponent' function of the Intimidate skill.

A standard action to make someone shaken for one round is lame. A standard action to make someone frightened for one round has potential.

Strange, that, isn't it.

The opponents listening somehow know by the intensity/pitch/loudness of the shout, that you are of a higher level?

I prefer to just leave stuff with a save. If they save, then that says nothing about what level they are.

Interesting. Once the Daunting Presence succeeds, any character with a good Intimidate can attempt to demoralize the target and every time it works, the target is frightened and runs away for a round.

I hate, hate, hate the frightened and panicked conditions making people run away. I might change them so they just make the penalties bigger (-4, then -8).
