In 5E, in actual play, have you used any of these at all during the time that they have been published options? I will be posting several polls separately to get a feel for what people are actually doing.

Again, mixing these makes answering difficult:

Flail and Net have both seen use, but we house-ruled them so they are more effective/useful.
Morningstar and Blowgun have never been used, although some monsters have had them. Does that count or are you just looking at PCs?

Again, mixing these makes answering difficult:
I agree. I've had players use the Net, to various degrees of success. Mostly I ignore the disadvantage at short range (melee) rule. I wouldn't say that I've had either a positive OR negative experience with them. I've had a player with a flail, too. Seemed fine. Don't think I've seen the Morning Star or Blowgun in play, though. Still, not enough to say Positive or Negative, which are my only choices.

Morningstar and Flail definitely. They are equivalent of the Longsword but with different damage types. (Yes, Longsword has Versatile, but I have seen that used for two attacks since 2014 - it's a ribbon, not something of consistent worth like Reach or Finesse.)

Net I've seen used, normally by a character with either Crossbow expert to use it in melee without disadvantage or Sharpshooter to use it at long range without disadvantage. (Or both.) Not as a primary weapon, but as a special purpose one they can use when needed because they already had the feat for what they do normally.

I used a flail for the Paladin I played in Curse of Strahd. The fact I had bludgeoning damage never came up, but it wasn't any worse than if I'd used a long sword.
