Upcoming Adventure Review

I'm done working the background for ROUS 2 (levels 1-2) and tonight will be actually on the adventure composition. I hope to be done soon. Although with the significant number of 1st level characters coming through the works so suddenly, my own game might not be enough. I haven't counted heads.

I could pull Quillian in if you need another 3rd level. He just needs to be leveled.

You're welcome if you wish to play. I don't want you to feel pressured that you have to if you aren't up for it though.

I have Tsaaruck. 2nd level but very close to 3rd level.

I think Tsaaruck would be a good fit.

I'm only about a third of the way done with working up encounters; not quite as far along as I wanted to be at this time but I've had a few extra things that I've been thinking about working into this adventure. Very likely I'll need a judge to go over the non-traditional aspects with a fine tooth comb when the time comes (and I hope that will be soon).

Playing right now isn't an issue. I'm not in a position to DM, but I've actually been considering retiring Quillian and working up a druid of some kind, since druids are still my favorite class to play, and it's been a long time since I've played one. Now would be the time to do it when there's actually an adventure ready to go.

On thinking about it, I'm just going to rewrite Quillian as a storm druid. I like everything about him except for the cleric class mechanics; I've just never been able to get into to the cleric class.

I had some spare time at work this evening and nearly managed to finish the adventure. There is a bit of underlying adventure structure that I still have to figure out before submission. Hopefully no more than a day or two for me to finish up.

I've got a level 8 adventure ready to go.

Cool, I have Elenore's Jewels almost finished. That will have a 8th level Arcane Archer and 7th level Inquisitor available. I think Satin Knights has been waiting around forever too with Kalgor. We should have at least 4 then.

Yeah, Kalgor is available. Arianna is officially burning DMCs to level, so that gives Kalgor room to play as the active third.

Ok, I've submitted an adventure 'Sweet Dreams' for APL 3+. I think it needs some discussion so I also started a judge discussion.

Closing in on finishing ROUS 2 and working with templates:

Advanced Template gives +4 to all stats. Seems odd, given the text description, that this should effect the Int of an animal. Is it safe to assume it doesn't and just deny the bonus?

Fiendish Template gives smite good and defines the creature as coming from the lower planes. Is it implied a creature like this is evil? Would it have to be intelligent enough to be evil?

The rest is going pretty well.
