Upcoming Adventure Review

Hello all.

I have returned from a lengthy hiatus and would love to get involved again.

Before I left I submitted and was approved for my adventure "Waking the Dead". I'd still love to run this game but I no longer have the source files. Is there any chance any of the judges still have a copy of this?

If not, I guess I'll have to start writing some new ones. I like being a PC but I much prefer running games.

Well I found my old Gmail account and password and there it was! I'm going to modify it for APL 2 and resubmit for approval.

Just did the nestea plunge, submitted a short (very short) one, more to get my own feet wet than anything else. "Let My Person Go" is now shared to the LPFJudge.

@dammitbiscuit ; We discussed the idea among the Judges and the idea is pretty ambitious, but something that would benefit LPF overall with proper support. Particularly if multiple DMs would also want to use it as a backdrop for adventures.
Cool! I was thinking it would be the sort of thing other DMs should be able to use, however I can't exactly give you my copy of the book. I can, however, prep each of the floors as a separate proposal and include a map showing how the floors connect to each other!
However, as an overarching proposal, it cannot be approved as you submitted it. You will need to pick a series of encounters tailored to a set number of characters and APL. I recommend looking at who is available in the DWI and in need of an adventure.
"Break it apart." Will do, yessir.
Your actual proposal needs to look something like this:

Most important, the Judge reviewing it will need a breakdown of the encounters with expected treasure. It doesn't have to be linear and can have sections the party avoids, but in the end the XP and Treasure needs to be balanced.

I recommend taking a look at this post if you need help on designing a series of encounters:

Roger! That example proposal helps a lot more than the one on the wiki.
In the end, the proposal will need to be flushed out enough for a Judge to resume or be able to manufacture an exit strategy in the unlikely event you happen to disappear and leave the players hanging.
*fleshed. That explains the need for such detailed documentation. I'll put together a couple floors, check in with you guys on it, then once we've arrived on a format that works for everyone, I'll do a floor appropriate to the PCs hanging in the inn.
I don't know precisely what you are talking about, but after this adventure, I'm ready to leave the Silver Road to others and let it fly on it's own, so I might be able to help support something else.
Megadungeon! Location with interconnected mini-plots that will take at least 10 adventures / delves (probably more) to complete in total. Probably best if several parties tackle different areas of it and compare notes.

If you wanna help, I'm not sure what to task you with but I'm sure there's a way.

Shared Ogre in the Rushes with the LPF Judge account.

I wonder whose adventure will end up being shorter Artur Hawkwing, mine or yours. :)

LOL! Depends on who gets players first I would guess. I just made something using the short adventure template on the wiki. I think it came up a bit shorter than the original. :p

I as thinking about how many days it would take to run it. But I guess that depends on the posters mostly.

I need to finish up Darreo and send him into the inn to get into one of these adventures.

Don't know if this is the proper place to discuss this, but I've lost two players on Warehouse Sitting, and would like to split the adventure into two parts. This is so that I can fill out the rest of the party and give the new characters a good point to start from.

It's probably a good idea to pause and re-recruit if you're down to 2/4, but you should PM the judge for your particular adventure.

It sucks that that happens, but there's always a lot of attrition from level 1s.

I think that's a good idea. I don't think there is anything 'official' that you need to do. Just re-recruit and continue. Good luck!
