Upcoming movies for 2004

A Dirty Shame (new John Waters flick)
Spiderman 2
Harry Potter 3--now that the franchise has a real director and stronger source material, I'm really looking forward to it. Unlike the first two, where mere mention of the name "Chris Columbus" had me cringing (his best work was the screenplay for Gremlins--it's been downhill ever since).

I was always a bit puzzled about Dr. Octopus though...I mean yes, he has extra, very strong arms...but is there really any reason that the cops couldn't just shoot him?

He's a super-villain, cops can't take them on only super-heores can take them down.

As for me Spider-man 2, just because it's Spider-man.

Of course anything by Pixar has my money.

Looking forward to seeing:

-Kill Bill Vol. 2 [Volume 1 was fun to watch....]

-Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow [So sweet, been waiting for something like this for a long time. Just hope it won't disappoint]

-Spiderman 2 [loved the first one, Sam's doing the second...I'm there]

-The Incredibles [Pixar hasn't let me down yet]

-Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban [Hey, I like Potter stuff....]

-Man On Fire [usually I don't trust something automatically if its got Denzel in it. We seen good and bad from him - - but the trailer has caught my attention - - I'll check it out ]

-Troy [no brainer....of course I'll see it.....]

-Hellboy [I like the comic]

-Alien vs. Predator [always wanted to see this get made....will see it, even though I bet it will just be mediocre at best.....rumors of the plot details made me start to doubt.]

Who is that not true of?

Spiderman 2

and while I know nothing of it:
THE TERMINAL

Hanks and Spielberg are amazing and to be honest has John Williams ever done the music for a not so classic movie?

Freddy Prinze Jr. We've only seen bad from him :)
There are actors that I like in every outing, even though the movie in question might be bad, but that's probably not what you're asking.

I agree about Terminal, and I'm also looking forward to Polar Express.

Same deal as with all of Batman's villains, like the Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, et al--they're not bullet-proof either, but they don't tend to stand around and just let cops shoot at them either. While Doc Ock HAS used his arms to deflect bullets before he's much more likely to pick up something with the arms to use as a shield or to toss a car at the cops or other, smarter tactics than 'instinctively' blocking bullets with them. While his arms are powerful enough to chuck cars around, Doc Ock's a bit more of a schemer than a rampager.

I am super-jazzed for Hellboy, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Spider-Man 2, and Sky Captain.

The Chronicles of Riddick. Loved Pitch Black, this one looks good, too. Spider-Man 2 should be good, and the Harry Potter's have always been entertaining. And Troy.
