Upcoming updates to the SRD

G'day!

I've been taking advantage of Wizards' new search engine on their boards to discover what the various Wizards staff have been saying about various things.

Along the way, I've been reminded of that great fellow Andy Smith and all the work he does on adding new material to the SRD.

Most of interest to me was that after d20 Future was added to the SRD (in September, I think), he planned to add part of the Planar Handbook (and possibly the MotP) to the SRD, later this year.

Keep in mind that the post was a couple of months ago - I normally catch these things a lot later than the original date, as I don't frequent those parts of the boards.

I also know that I'm more enthusiastic about the Planar Handbook than many around here, but I do consider it a good sign whenever new material is planned to be added (although Andy is somewhat vague about when - before the end of the year, hopefully!)

Thanks, Merric! Andy Smith is an awesome fellow, and I hope he still stays in charge of doing the updates and working with WotC on what CAN be added! Much as I like to see people advance in the place they work, here's one instance where I'm afraid of the outcome if someone else takes the reins.
