I am intrigued but I am also curious to see how usable it will be at the table as opposed to it being a pretty book to read.

As long as they dont tie it into existing DnD cosmology this could be pretty good.

Yes, and it looks great: but the point is, it goes to show why the Spelljammer books are a bit more modest in size: WotC is in the more mass market business.
