The weird revelation of Penny Arcade's response to the whole OGL debacle is that that is the way it has (other than an official book release) always been. I think the difference is that, given how much more controversial WotC has become, they now feel the need to emphasize that they are not officially affiliated with WotC. This likely also has to do with the fact that they are asking for Kickstarter money, and if people think they are funded by a giant toy conglomerate the money isn't going to be forthcoming. It’s interesting the line here. It’s not an official WotC thing but WotC folk are participating? Or something?
It’s not exactly random. During the early 4e podcasts, Jerry ran a 4e Dark Sun adventure. It used to be on the WotC site alongside the other Chris Perkins-run podcasts, but I’m not sure where it can be found now.Any news about the ”random” insert of the Dark Sun book in their initial announcement video?
I have them all saved in my Onedrive. Link below if anyone wants them, Pretty sure I've shared them correctly. It’s not exactly random. During the early 4e podcasts, Jerry ran a 4e Dark Sun adventure. Honestly I ... Kinda hope it doesn't get funded? I'd rather the PA guys walk away from D&D at this point. The weird revelation of Penny Arcade's response to the whole OGL debacle is that that is the way it has (other than an official book release) always been. Probably will be using OneD&D, given the DMs.If they're playing 5e I have zero interest
To make it clear they aren't shills, even if they are on good terms with WotC, and this isn't a paid advertisement. It’s interesting the line here. It’s not an official WotC thing but WotC folk are participating? Or something?
While the Penny Arcade rendition of Jim Darkmagic as Mouseguard character was pretty cute, I'm afraid having senior creative people from WotC running their own game for the ridiculous and irreverent adventures of Acq. Inc has always been a key part of the charm for me.Honestly I ... Kinda hope it doesn't get funded? I'd rather the PA guys walk away from D&D at this point.
