Urban Druid?

First Post
I don't remember where I saw it, but I vaguely recall seeing an alternate druid class for an urban druid. Does anyone remember if that was in dragon or a splatbook or somewhere else? If someone has the stats and stuff handy, could they post them?

It was in Masters of the Wild. They suggested you switch out class skills Wilderness Lore for Gather Information, and switch Track with a feat called "Shadow" that's in the book.

That would be the Urban Ranger. Urban Druid would be a different thing entirely. Then again, I suppose Hedge Wizard (think of the animal companion as a bigger, tougher familiar) and Crazy Cat Woman might both be concepts that fit the class.

Or Rogue...

Nethack. I only ever tried Rogue once or twice for the novelty.

I started with Hack, though.

Hyp, I have newfound respect for you. :D

Heh. It's my standard response any time anyone mentions cats and D&D in the same sentence...

Well, no. Normally there's only the one housecat. But Crazy Cat Woman just conjured up a mental image... :)

I find that Nethack imagery on a message board is great for illustrating combat situations - AoOs, threatened areas, flanking, etc etc - since most computer-literate D&D gamers "get" it, and it's got built-in 5' squares... :)
