Actually rogue 4. You need 7 ranks of Decipher script which is an exclusive skill. Sorcerer levels don't count towards its max ranks.

They are actually very well balanced. It really depends more on the style of play and campaign then anything though.

Go for it! The trickster is well worth to wait the few levels!

And I agree with our very own iconic kobold, that the wizard is better suited (for the arcane trickster at least) than the sorcerer (or for any non-spellcaster multiclassing actually).
