Urn Your Pay (Rae judging)

[sblock=OOC]I have to confess to being a little confused currently. The AOO you were refering to was for Erf? I don't think he would get it being full defensive, so we will assume he did not take it.[/sblock]

Erf moves under the table towards the Grig on the floor and attempts to grapple the creature.

Fenenn fends off the grasping tendrils of the rug and snatches the Grig jaws dropping its limp form to the ground and licking Erf who showers him with praise.

[sblock=Erf Touch Attack 11, Grapple 9]Touch attack, grapple (1d20-2=12, 1d20-4=10) Rolls were made one higher than they should have been. Under the table diagonally adjacent to Fenenn. Grapple made on the presumption that this Grig was disarmed, otherwise he will not do so and will double move to flank with Fenenn.[/sblock]

[sblock=Fenenn Attack 20, 8 Damage, Reflex 17]Reflex (1d20+5=17) Attack, Trip (1d20+3=20, 1d6+3=8, 1d20+3=9) Current position works for me.[/sblock]

ooc: I can understand your confusion, since it's my fault: the aoo was for Fenenn, based on G2's pre-edit actions. I forgot to remove that when I updated.

OOC: Ah, well in that case Fenenn's attack as the aoo since all the bonuses, etc. will be the same.

Erf clambers up onto the table and points Fenenn at the Grig (G1), the massive wolf hound clambers up onto the table shrugging off the table cloth and rug. Letting out a low rumbling growl Fenenn charges and leaps at the creature his jaws open wide...

[sblock=Jump 15, Hit 23 Nat 20 no confirm, 8 Damage] I leave it to you to determine the viability of the jump, Fenenn is about 5ft tall when standing btw, being a large wolf hound, so on his hind legs he probably clears 7 ft. He already made the Entangle save last post.Fenenn jump, attack (1d20+8=15, 1d20+3=23, 1d6+3=8) Crit confirmation, extra damage. (1d20+3=11, 1d6+3=8) [/sblock]

ooc: Gah, I'm failing to explain things today. The AoO happened in an alternate reality, caused by the fact that I failed to notice Gildrim stepping on the sword. In that reality, G2 went for the sword and provoked an AoO from Fenenn. However, when I was reminded that Gildrim prevented G2 from picking up the sword, I edited, and that alternate reality collapsed... mostly. G2 no longer did anything to provoke an AoO; I just didn't finish the job of editing that round's post properly. So your action as first posted needs no changes: Erf tries a grapple, and Fenenn chomps.

OOC: Ter-raen not Spartan, LOL! But I rolled a nat 20 in the alternate reality it was warm and friendly there :.-(. Lets think of it as next turns reality...:lol:

Gildrim lets his whip fall and scoops up the limp grasshopper. "He's bit an' bleedin'," he calls to the fey leader. "Ye can see Erf haur's healed yer friend. Come oan doon 'greeable, an' Ah'll heal this ane!"

"Listen te me friend Gildrim Mr. Grig, we don't want te fight ye," Erf pipes up, although his gaze moves to the snarling Fenenn, "well Fenenn might, ye did shoot an arrow inte 'is nose, but we don't. We've just come te look fer an old burial Urn, fer the man whose family used te, own this place, so let us search fer it and we'll be on our way."

The forest gnome frowns,

"Unless ye've been talkin' te a certain Nixie and pretendin' te be the voice of her goddess? Because if that's the case yer going down." Erf watches the Grig attempting to discern if it was indeed responsible for tricking the lovely Nixie, but finds that his own thoughts are distracting him - the gnomes face becomes a distinctly arker shade of green.
