USE MAGIC DEVICE (CHA; TRAINED ONLY)
Use this skill to activate magic
Check: You can use this skill to read a spell or to activate a magic item. Use Magic Device lets you use a magic item as if you had the spell ability or class features of another class, as if you were a different race, or as if you were of a different alignment.
...
Special: You cannot take 10 with this skill.

Skill Mastery: The rogue becomes so certain in the use of certain skills that she can use them reliably even under adverse conditions. Upon gaining this ability, she selects a number of skills equal to 3 + her Intelligence modifier. When making a skill check with one of these skills, she may take 10 even if stress and distractions would normally prevent her from doing so.

So Use Magical Device is exempt from Skill Mastery?

I would assume so as the text of skill mastery deals with being so familiar with an action that you can simply just do it, whereas the UMD requires the actual use of an item, not the performance of a skill. Is this accurate?

Skill Mastery does not let you take ten on skills that can't be taken ten on. There are some classes like Warlock and Artificer that specifically allow taking ten on UMD.

What's your source for that?

Skill mastery?

"she may take 10 even if stress and distractions would normally prevent her from doing so."

Stress and distractions aren't preventing you from Taking 10 on UMD. UMD is. Therefore, Skill Mastery doesn't help you.

Also, there is nothing in Skill Mastery that states it overrides the other rules. Skill Mastery, as the general rule, is overridden by UMD, the specific rule, unless it states otherwise.

OK, no sourse, thanks.

Can a rogue with skill mastery take 10 on a Use Magic
Device check?

No. The rogue’s skill mastery class feature states that “she
may take 10 even if stress and distractions would normally
prevent her from doing so.” This only applies to skills that
allow a character to take 10 in nonstressful situations; if a skill
simply doesn’t allow a character to take 10 under any
circumstances (such as Use Magic Device), skill mastery
provides no benefit.

Source enough for you?

The "source" are the simply the rules in the PH, with the answer you are seeking being laid out by the FAQ. This answer is right from the RAW.
