Uses of the new 3e MM & MMII monsters?

Out of all the new monsters that have appeared in both the MM & MMII, which ones do you use and how?

Now I know it's difficult to determine if some of them have appeared in previous editions before like the Belker and Ravid which were originally in the Planescape Monster Compendium III or the Athatch, Korpu and Choker which originally appeared in the Mystara setting. But there are a handful of original monsters in both of those books, many the later one.

For one thing I determined what to do with Yrthaks. They have uses for aerial calvary in a campaign world of mine with airships.

Heh, that's funny. I did the same thing once with sky pirates riding yrthaks to attack the sea ship our players were on.

I have some Anarchic Yrthaks a small group of slaad use as mounts to sail across Limbo. Havn't had a chance to use them in game yet, though.

EDIT: OH! And shocker lizards rule!

In my Sundered Sky campaign I have several non standard PC races... Kobolds, Orcs, Hobgoblins and Wildlings (anthropormorphic animals). Goblins also serve a purpose in the world as a kind of soulless slave race.

The constant light of the Sundered Sky can cause a sentient creature to turn Glowmad. Glowmad individuals are bestial insane creatures.

A Glowmad Human becomes a Grimlock, although they are called The Blinded in the Sundered Sky

A Glowmad Orc becomes an Ogre

Glowmad Kobolds become something called a Wyrmspawn (based of the Dragonkin in Monster's of Faerun)

A Glowmad Goblin either becomes a bestial Bugbear or "regains his soul" and becomes a Hobgoblin. Hobgoblins regain freedom of will.

Wildlings are immune to the Glowmad Phenomena.

I haven't needed to decide what happens to an Elf or Dwarf that becomes Glowmad yet. If anybody has any ideas, I am very open to suggestions. :)

Sorry, it seems I didn't make my question clear enough, but I asked for what uses have you thought up for monsters in those two books that did not appear at all in 1e or 2e. For example what uses are there for Arrowhawks, Gricks, Julajimus, Chuul, Rogue Eidolons, Krenshar, and others.

Arrowhawks: Good summon fodder! :) They're Elemental denizens, so they lack a niche in the main campaign plane.

Gricks: Low-level icky aberration. They're cool. Good replacement for Carrion Crawlers in certain situations.

Chuul: Mid-level icky aberration. They're cool too.

Rogue Eidolons: will appear at higher levels.

Well, since I am mainly in the Lizard Marsh of FR at this point, I use any and all combinations involving Lizardfolk. In my Darksun stuff, I am much more limited but I use the Vermin section quite a bit. Strongly considering a Vermin Master for my Story Hour (Master of Flies from S Species).
