Using Major Creation for Spell Components - Is it possible?

Hello everyone,

Essentially, I'm trying to work out whether the following is possible for my Conjurer 10/Alienist 3:

- Lucifus (The Alienist although he titles himself a Warlock), has a Tongues spell upon himself.
- He casts a summon monster VII summoning a Djinni - who will stay around for 13 rounds - just over a minute
- He instructs the Djinni to create some diamonds using its major creation spell like ability (The Djinni is a 20th level caster).
- Lucifus then hopes to use these diamonds for a Raise Dead - which he is casting by using a Limited Wish and which has an instantaneous duration.

Question One:
Even though the Djinni has this ability, will it still take it 10 minutes to cast (as per the spell) and thus not be possible if it has been summoned?

Question Two:
How many (what value) of diamonds can it create.

Question Three:
If question one was 10 minutes it is going to be of no use anyway and as such Lucifus will have to learn the spell. How many diamonds (what value)can he create as a 13th level caster?

Question Four:
In either case, can these be used to power a Raise Dead spell (which takes 5000gp worth of diamonds and one minute to cast and so just fits in within the time constraints if the Djinni provides the diamonds as they will disappear when he leaves)?

By the way, if this is possible, it seems like a massive cheating of the cost system in terms of Raise Dead - and the resurrections as well if it can provide enough value's worth of diamonds. I'm not too sure if this is a good thing.

Major Creation: "This spell functions like minor creation, except..."

Minor Creation: "Attempting to use any created object as a material component causes the spell to fail."

Even though the Djinni has this ability, will it still take it 10 minutes to cast (as per the spell) and thus not be possible if it has been summoned?

"Using a spell-like ability is a standard action unless noted otherwise, and doing so while threatened provokes attacks of opportunity."

A djinni's Major Creation does not 'note otherwise', so it's a standard action.

This doesn't help Herremann the Wise, but interestingly you could create an appropriate Focus, however, since it's not a material component.
