My group is curious if Constructs are innately immune to sleep even though nothing about magical sleep is covered in their description.

Did a major attack on a castle once in 1e, had to pull out graphing calculators and do calculus--square circles make the game more fun. In general, same with all that other stuff. Also funky things happened with Chill Touch.Undead could be (effectively) scared in 3x. Turn Undead could make them flee and cower.
If it hadn't been for situations like that, my parents would never have let my brother and me waste so much time playing 1e.
