Using spells, whats the best AC?

Hey could use a little help here. Trying to make this characters AC as high as possible using only spells. Most sources are available.

Character is level 8 (Sorry had 9 here)
Spells need to be from Wizard or Cleric spells lists and can go up to level 4 spells.
Polymorph is not an option
Cannot use Dragonskin
CAN use barkskin
Would like to keep this to under 8 spells, anything more and durations start to wear off

I have this so far
Luminous Armor Greater +8
Shield +4
Barkskin +3
Shield of Faith +3
Protection from Evil +2
Haste +1
Cats Grace +2

For a total of +23 to AC

Barkskin +3 sounds not so high leveled...

This is basically a custom class for a storybased game. The character has access to both cleric and mage spells following the standard level progression. He is level 8. So in effect, nearly any spell from both list up to level 4 spells are available.

Barkskin is level 2 and the PC does have access to it. Cast at the 8th level i think it provides a +3 to Natural Armor.

You'd get AC +3 from Barkskin until CL level 8.

Sounds like you don't exactly need rules, if you build yourself a class that gets level 4 cleric/wizard spells by level 8.

Those don't stack.

Yeah, like I said. Its a story based game. Rules are flexible and this character "class" is part of the story. There are some though, such as following the spells per day and progression of a wizard.

Reduce Person: +2 (+2 size bonus to Dex, +1 bonus to AC)

Isn't Alter Self also a limited Polymorph? (could be wrong here)

Otherwise, +6 nat. AC for being a Trog is always welcome.
