Pathfinder 1E Using the Pathfinder System for an Alternate Setting - Anyone doing it?

Back when 4e was announced, a friend of mine and I started making our own campaign world, based on some of the tenants of 4th Edition as it was outlined in the promotion books. The points of light theme. Tieflings and dragonborn being part of the setting's ecology from the beginning. A grittier feel. That sort of thing.

However, 4th Edition simply didn't catch on with our group and Pathfinder has. Right now, I'm continuing to design the campaign world, but will probably use the Pathfinder system for it.

Anyone else using the Pathfinder system for a setting other than Golarion?

Likewise. I'm sure the PF setting is nice and all that, but I don't have the money to invest in it, so I'm going SRD plus homebrew.

I'm using it for my homebrew, which has seen conversion from 2nd edition to 3rd, 3.5, 4th, and now Pathfinder.

I had plan on converting my current Kingdoms of Kalamar using the final ruleset in about a couple of months. We started our campaign using the Beta.

When I do start my next campaign, it will be in Golarion; however, I had seriously thought of using FR and Iron Kingdoms as my home campaigns.
