Hmm. Well let's consider the attributes you'll want as a vampire hunter.

Darkvision, but able to go out in the light.
Turn undead is a must.
Healing wouldn't hurt.
You'll need hand to hand combat.
Good speed is also a must.
You'll want speed, especially at higher levels.
Flight won't hurt either.

I would go with a LG clr/mnk for the class.

As for the race I would go with something that has flight and darkvision, but nothing above an ecl 1.

So we get flight and darkvision from the race and a clr2/mnk 2.

If that is possible.

How much is the half celestial template's ECL, a half celestial kobold monk/cleric sounds a bit ridiculous however. Besides you don't need cleric for turning, holy sumbols alone work against vamps, you need a party cleric for the drains.

Actually Vampires are turnable they just get +4 Turn Resistance, which makes fighting them at low level really difficult. The Half Celestial wouldn't be bad but if I'm not mistaken they have +5ECL.

I think the a monk using two wooden sianghams (read stakes) would be pretty bad for a vampire. :cool:
 

I'd say some either some cleric type with Sun and War (if you can't get both, get Sun) or a fighter with ranged and reach weapons (a bow and Spiked chain are good). If you go fighter route, aim for Undead Slayer (S&F). Godly against undead (duh).
 

Human Cleric w/ Sun domain, gun for Sacred Exorcist as soon as you can, when there choose Undead as your Chosen Foe. If you can pull if off, take either a level of Contemplative or Divine Disciple and also pick up the Glory domain.

Half Celestial is ECL +4
Celestial is ECL +2

It's too bad that you don't have 6 levels to play with. Then you could go with a ghost paladin. Ghosts are immune to level drain and can chase/fight the vamp when it goes ethereal.

Ah well.

Why always a cleric?? If the whole group had that idea then they will be seriously underpowered. Possibilites are making a warrior and taking the prestige class hunter of the dead. Take a rogue and the feat that allows criticals and sneaks upon undead, cant remember the name of it.
Anyway they were my ideas.
