For ability scores (the 3 it actually possesses), the assassin vine has Con 16, Wis 13, Cha 9. Since the vampire moss is probably more Cha-focused than Con-focused, perhaps we can reverse the stats, giving us Con 9, Wis 13, Cha 16? Maybe up the Con to 10 so it doesn't get a penalty?

works for me - just like hooked on phonics!

should we make all the saves Charisma-based?

"Parasitic energy theft" is too bulky, for sure. ;) how about "life drain"?
Another option, although it might be a bit too eastern in flavour is Ki Drain. Wizards uses ki now and again as a kind of life energy, again mainy in the oriental flavoured classes/abilities.

Ki seems to have a faily defined niche in D&D as "energy that powers class features of Asian-inspired classes", so I'd hesitate to use it in this manner.

this one should probably have the camouflage ability, for the same reason the obliviax would.
