Cleric, please.

I realized I never finished the custom spell lists for the cleric based on their chosen god, so I am working on that with the plan of posting that class next.
Do you have wizard's guilds? I see where you are going with the magician sub-classes, but was wondering if there were organizations for casters.

My old homebrew setting did, but that is not something I have developed for this one (yet). I do have three magic schools that I have mentioned and may develop further not only as schools, but as places where the mages they train are shaped towards specific agendas.

Why do you ask? Or did you have something specific in mind?

Mostly to see what you do to inform further refinement of what I do.

I have three active guilds. They have limited curated spell lists and a special ability at fifth level. There are some "lost traditions" that PCs can learn from using feats. I think I mentioned those in a different thread.

In the past, I would have made Prestige Classes for them (which I prefer over sub-classes). Looking forward I may make them more sub-class -like depending how much of 5e I absorb in the future.

Yeah. I used to love prestige classes tho to be honest in 16 years of running and playing 3E, only saw one character take one. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I probably will build the schools around triads of arcane schools but not sure how that will effect the game in a mechanical way.

I only had two used. I made 8 of them, 5 level, five for martials and three for casters.

I did something similar; Necromancy/Conjuration, Evocation/Divination, Illusion/Transmutation. Filled out from there.

I just updated the post with the cleric table (and the cleric table itself) with a PDF of the full class plus my version of 7 divine domains and a supplemental PDF describing the 13 Gods of the setting and some of the divine cosmology.

The first PDF includes spell lists for each of the 13 Gods. Many of those spells have been added or changed.

There was something else about the Cleric class doc I wanted to update, but it came to be while I was walking the dog and by the time I got back home I had forgotten again. FEH!

Myraxus - God of Knowledge & Secrets

The latter document includes some AI art (warning in case that offends your sensibilities), the uncanny vision of some them seeming to perfectly fit my discomfiting sense of religious art.

I also updated the Mage PDF.
