Any rules on who has to go first in this match or for how long?

ooc: I'd say I go first until I use chi strike, then we could alternate.

Vanor calls on the spirit of the day and strikes hard and fast

The panther kicks by the well; shields against the violence of the shadow!

Vanor goes first until he uses his chi strike..then it alternates as normal.

Vanor and Shard circle around the well, watching and gauging each other. Finally, they both move at nearly the same moment, Vanor kicking out at Shard around the well while she blocks against his attack that would cause some chaos upon her body. Right before Vanor attacked though, Shard dexterously kicked out at the old well itself, hoping to collapse it on top of Vanor.

Hmm...kicking by the well or kicking the well. One is in danger of a damaged knee while the other is in danger of breaking a foot. However, Shard could break the well also.

Vanor decides to stick with the cat like styles for a bit longer, but swiches over to a different type of cat. He leaps forward and strikes hard at Shards chest, then steps back and defends

The jaguar vanquishes the groto; wards off the slash of the teardrop!

Hey Darkwolf, be thankful that I already switched away from using this purple color that I originally wanted. This is yet another reason I miss HTML capability. Not very many colors to begin with and even fewer that work well on this dark background!

Vanor’s attack is full of spirit, but Shard soon quells that spirit as she uses her sharpened fingernails to deliver a severing Cherry Blossom style strike to the canyon of Vanor’s throat!
