Not a direct tribute involving his name, but today's Nemi Comic featured a RPG-game... and in today's Metro, Gygax's death was mentioned as well. I guess it's no coincidence.

Stephen Colbert talked about Gary's passing in the last seconds of his Colbert Report last night. He took a d20 and rolled it on the table and said something to the effect of "20. Thank you Gary."

I'm actually surprised I've seen no response from Dave Arneson anywhere, of any sort. Not that a tribute is obligatory...it's just that I remember Gary telling me they were on fairly good terms in later years.
