  • Going back to Ravenloft, the Nine Hells, places where 5th Edition has been in the last 10 years.
  • It would be a fun 'meta experience' for players to visit locations they remember lore about.
  • Finding pieces of the Rod of Seven Parts, pieces throughout the multiverse.
  • Each piece in one of seven distinct planes or settings.

Rowan Darkwood aka Gifad might be a big bad for Planescape, as he was one of the big causes behind Faction War. Though 5e reset things to before Faction War, with Darkwood still being the factol of The Fated and his timeloop future self Gifad still being in The Prison and presumably his further future self the Ancient Archmage still being trapped in a gem.

Otherwise it would be Orcus as he was the villain behind the scenes in 2 different adventures from the classic setting.

Getting a hang of this!
With Lolth and Miska the Wolf Spider being here, and these demonic images, I wonder if this book will feature a foray into the Abyss?

Well, it should go without saying that if you missed out on the 5E Vecna stat block from Beyond, it seems like it would be a shoe-in for said stat block to return in Eve of Ruin.

Now, the real question is, will Lolth get a Stat Block as well? We have one for Bahamut, Tiamat, And Vecna? (As well as the various Arch Devils and Demon Princes in some format or another). So, stat blocks aren't TOO much of an off limit thing for 5E and Deities.

I will be surprised if Miska The Spider-Wolf doesn't get one. Especially considering the official new art(if he ever had art to begin with from prior editions). Given the history between Miska and The Rod of Seven Pieces it would seem likely it will happen though.
