As written, it gives access to Comand Plants. It does not, however, grant either Plant Defiance or Plant Control. Having said that, the granted Domain ability is identical to the Plant Control Feat, so a DM could quite reasonably rule that it satisfied that prerequisite.

Nevertheless, a cleric with Plant Domain could not get access to Plant Defiance without at least one level of druid or four of ranger to be able to cast Detect Animals and Plants.

My DM has said the Plant Domain meeds the requierments for the VL.

Looking at the Plant Defiance or Plant Control feats, Plant Defiance is leading up to Plant Control and the Domain give identical abilitys as Plant Control so he ruled its is the same and the Plant Control is the ability that matters for the VL PrCl.
