Technically, Mystara, but it was just the Known World used in X1 at that point and there wasn't much of am intentional Setting to speak of yet. Really more of a plug and play microsetting within the module itself.
Yep, pretty much.

In Mystara, the Lost City can be found within the deserts of the Emirates of Ylaruam.

I believe the adventure was based on a Conan story, though I forget its name.

They took some liberties with the original art design, the Cynidecians look like regular people rather than cavefish. They also seemed to have dropped the all male and all female factions.

Yeah, they made it pretty clear they are making huge changes to all of these Adventures.

However, they are also selling a bundle with the original PDFs of all 6 o. The DMsGuild, so...

That's another thing made me question their choice of modules. They let Goodman remake lost city and expedition. So why remake them when you still have dozens of other modules to convert? Instead of lost city you had Rahasia, Palace of the Silver Princess or even Horror on the Hill. Those would have been perfect for low level introductory modules. At least until they got to the garden.

The Goodman stuff is out of print.
