I've heard some ways to work with healing effects on warforged, specifically those spells that say recover all ability damage, such as Restoration and Heal. Since there isn't a variable number, I say that half of all is 'half', and therefore the spell would recover half of the total amount of available healing. For an example, say a warforged has 18 Str. Restoration would attempt to recover 18 Str points, minus half, for 9. Therefore, that warforged would recover 9 Str points per Restoration. I believe the same goes for HP recovery. If a Heal spell recovers 100 HP, half of that is 50, and that's what a warforged would recover, regardless of it's current or total. A spell that would restore the warforged's Max HP would attempt to restore the HP, minus half, which would be the actual amount of healing.
I've heard some argue that a warforged only recovers half of what they need. I don't see the sense in that. I mean, a cure spell may recover 30 points, even though the receiver only needs, say, 6. The other points are there, but wasted.
What does everyone else think of this?
