Villain class: darkmage

Perfected vigor is kinda weird. I don't see any other kind of vigor up till that point- unless you count infernal health.

But otherwise it looks very cool.

I might swap out the true seeing and the higher abilities, including the problematic perfected health.

New ability progression:
16: greater metamagic: 1/encounter, reduce total metamagic cost for a spell by 1 level (minimum +0)

21: DR 10/epic

24: epic metamagic: 1/encounter, reduce total metamagic cost for a spell by 2 levels (minimum +0)

25: spell swarm

How do people feel if the abilities where you sacrifice a spell worked off caster/character level, instead of spell level?

Effects I can think of:
- More use for 1st level slots which would otherwise be uniformly weak

- Spending low-level slots on specials and saving high-level ones for spells becomes a no-brainer

- The class becomes significantly more durable, especially against small numbers of opponents (limit on swift/immediate actions/round means it's still possible to overwhelm a darkmage with weight of numbers, even with this change)

Too strong? Too weak?
