Virtual Happy Hour (Brews & Spirits, Pics & Reviews)

Is it DB that owns monteiths? I always think its lion red, either way the breweries they've bought tend to be better than their original beers.

Think ots DM. Generally avoid DB pubs but they make great food. Monteiths is decent most of the DB range is crap.

Lion Nathan owns Emerson, Macs and a few others at least.

Mates homebrew. 2/4 kinda liked it. Different light.

Weather forecast looks like crap. Camping trip debatable.

Crap summer so far.

I tried another round of shrubs. Doing a 2:1 fruit to sugar maceration, left for 2 days, then filtered through cheesecloth and mixed 2:1 syrup to vinegar. I'm very happy with this process, they've come out much cleaner and balanced then some other methods I've tried.

Blueberry, kiwi and strawberry:

My leftover blueberry/strawberry diluted down with seltzer:

Uugh checking out the damage. Filled Peter the great 3 time. He holds 1.3 liters.

Add a pint of Obolon. And a handle.

2 Joshbeers fill Peter and a handle.

Shared some as well.

Well planned on getting a bit poo faced today. Unfortunately the liver let me down along with the blood in my alcohol stream.

May have had a few yesterday. Down to 7 or 8 beers out of 28 750ml bottles. Shared some though. Weather's been better than expected. Think we are bailing in a couple of days if the weather forecast is accurate. 7 bottles disappeared day 1 somehow after that about 3 or 4 a day.

Friday Happy Hour has been preempted the last few weeks, and the brews at home have been repeats. Finally tried one of the new ones at home tonight

Hilton Head Brewing Hefe. It was perfectly drinkable - but with it being filtered, does that make it a Kristallweizen and not a Hefe? No particular banana flavors or hint of bubblegum (and very muted clove).

1. It's wine.
2. It's Australian
3. Probably vegan

Remembered to pour it into a glass vs chug it or using Peter the Great. Thought I would class the joint up It's Valentines day. Wife's into the ciders hot summer night.

Bit posh it's even got Italian on the glass. At least it's not French. Tastes like sadness. Think it's Vegan as well. NZ southern man license revoked. Needs more meat or hops.
