On darkness:

It gets very dark on an overcast night. You're actually lucky to make out your own hand in front of your face, the rest is just pitch black. I'll advice anyone to to take a torch/flashlight with them when planning to stay outside at night and not near a city.
When in a forest it doesn't even need to be overcast, the leaves will drown everything in impenetrable darkness.

Is there a modifier on move silently based on size ?

By the same token, is there a modifier on Hide checks based on size ?

edit: never mind, found it (for hide).

it's weird that a gargantuous creature is potentially as silent as a tiny one...
