D&D 5E Volo's Guide will be available for Roll20

Please break it down for me, how do we know it can't be more then thirty pages based on the numbers we've seen. For chapter 1 the last page number we seen is 84 I believe the first page we see for Chapter 3 is for the Gaurth, at page 125. Firbolg is page 107 and Goliath is page 108.

So, the difference between earliest known chapter three page, and last known chapter one page is about 40.

On that last chapter one page, Orcs are still being described. After Orcs, the 12-14 pages about Yuan-Ti, Perkins self described favorite monster come. Some monsters probably come before Gauth. So, less than thirty is probable, thirty max, maybe. We will know soon enough, though.

I don't know if Yuan-Ti will get a full 12 -14 pages, but they might. I guess your right, will find out by Nov 4 at the latest I guess.

Yeah, I'm certain somebody will break street date, too, honestly.

So, there are seven groups I chapter one: from page 7 to about page 85 or so, we know that they cover Beholders through Orcs (Beholders start before page 7, Orcs end after 85). That means over 80 pages for 6 groups. We know 14 are just for Beholders, but we can surmise about 12 or so per race as an average; as such, we can reasonably deduce that the Yuan-Ti section probably goes up close to page 100: depends partly on if the Orc section is almost over, or midway through on that previewed page.

Are you saying Roll20 doesn't have the Monster Manual yet?

Not that I can see. But-- full disclosure-- while I use roll20 I'm definitely not an expert on its functionality.

It does have the SRD monsters in the Compendium, but not the full set of monsters. And I don't think there's a token set.

Shrug. I just hope they are working on it. I'm glad that the Volo monsters will be available but the Monster Manual data would be much closer to a 'killer app' for me in terms of running games.

I couldn't get by without the MM in FG. I use it constantly. Hopefully it will be available for you poor souls on R20 soon.
