For those of you with acces-- does the virtual table have any potential as an asynchronous tool? Meaning something where individuals could log in at different times to move figures around the battle map and such? A supplement say to an email campaign?
Thanks for the help.

It could in principle but there is no way to record moves and so forth. If I was doing D&D by email and I wanted a map application I think I would look at Cyberboard or some other wargame application and see if they could be used because some of them are designed for play by email from the get go.For those of you with acces-- does the virtual table have any potential as an asynchronous tool? While I think it is currently impossible to get the DDI tools to run on an iPad, I have heard about someone, using something (LogMeIn I think it was called) to run DDI on his/her computer, but controlling it from their iPad.

This is a smart thing to do.
