Wandering powers and priest spells

Faldrath

First Post
First of all, sorry if this is the wrong forum, but it's my first post here and with all that piratey stuff I couldn't locate the appropriate one. Mods, feel free to move this if necessary.

So, this is a Planescape question. In the "DM Guide to the Planes", priest spells are affected by the distance in planes between a priest and his/her god. So a priest of Helm (who lives in Mechanus) would lose two xp levels if he were in Baator.

The question is: what happens if the god in question is a wandering god, like Marthammor Duin or Baravar Cloakshadow? What are the effects on their priests?

Thank you in advance

Hey Faldrath, welcome aboard.

I don't really know an official-ish answer, but if you wanted to track where the wandering gods are and have the priests level change, apparently randomly, I think that could be fun.

Thanks :)

But I found out the answer: the book "On Hallowed Ground" has the planar locations of all deities. Marthammor, the one who I was concerned about (one of my players is his priest) is based on Ysgard, so that's what counts for spells purposes. I'll make him a wanderer through Ysgard, Arborea, Mount Celestia and the Dwarven Mountain...
