If you have the XPH and are really bored, you can offer advice on tweaking my proposed character. Aside from a cleric, there will be no other spellcasters/power manifesters in the party.
Background: The answer to what one does if one kills a whole goblin tribe and finds a young child goblin. You take it back to the temple of Fharlanghn and raise it! An exciting life, growing up on the road, learning from others (including almost joining a travelling circus), etc. Note, she is NG, and tries to get as far away from her past as possible. The DM allowed me to take Celestial as one of the possible starting languages I could choose (the others are Draconic, Orc, Gnoll, Giant -- and I have Common and Goblin, of course). (Elves are extremely rare in this campaign world, so it is unlikely she would know that language). She is devoted to the party cleric. She tends to fade into the background, but occasionally pipes up with information about a creature if it comes up in conversation (or is met in combat).
Favorite combat tactic: Hide and Create Astral Constructs to deal with the problem.
Least favorite combat tactic: Being surprised and relying upon her club and leather armor to save her hide.
Blue (treated as LA +0 until official erratta comes out, since the LA is listed as both +0 and +1) (nice DM). Note: since blues are meant to be smaller than the average goblin, I am using the halfling stats for height, weight, and age. I went for minimum in all three (the DM allows me to choose). Being the runt of a short sub-tribe of a small race would give her more background to work with. Besides, it gives the halfling in the party someone to look down at.
Skills, maxed: Conc., Know (monster) (very nice DM), spot, listen, move silently, hide, tumble (note: last 5 skills are cc)
Feats: 1st - Psionic Body, Psionic Talent, then Psionic Talent for all other feats, except for Boost Construct at 6th, and maybe Improved Toughness (depending on whether I find myself more often low on hp or pp).
S: 9 D: 14 Co: 16 I: 20 W: 10 Ch: 5 (Improve Int at every other even level)
Powers (this is the tricky part - unlike Sorcerors and Bards there are no "do overs", barring a psionic power that costs XP)
1st level: Astral Construct, Force Shield, Catfall
2nd: Vigor, Inertial Armor
3rd: Concussive Blast, Energy Stun
4th: Sustenance, Energy Adaptation (specific)
5th: Ectoplasmic Coccoon, Body Adjustment
6th: Time Hop, Concealing Amphoria (greater)
7th: Body Purification, Death Urge
8th: Correspond, Wall of Ectoplasm
9th: True Seeing, Dispel Psionics
10th: Dimension Door, Freedom of Movement
11th: Temporal Acceleration
12th: Retrieve, Mass Cloud Mind
13th: Mass Ectoplasmic Coccoon
14th: Adapt Body, Empathic Feedback
15th: Greater Teleport
16th: Recall Death, True Metabolism
17th: Timeless Body
18th: Microcosm, Affinity Field
19th: Evade Burst
20th: Mind Blank (Psionic), Power Resistance
