Another non-primary caster though he does have access to Divine spells. This one is somewhat a reach (cool but I don't know if it would fit)...you'll really want a player who will "fly" with this one.

Biography
The younger son of a large family in a small fishing village, Karris was more fascinated by the sailors that periodically passed by then the family trade. On days he could manage to skip away from fishing he'd often spend them in the common room of the local inn, the Spar and Mast, listening to the sailors swap stories of adventure and the high seas. It is likely he would have left for the ocean when he came of age, if fate hadn't intervened...

Barely sixteen, Karris returned one afternoon to a cloud of black smoke and burned houses - and the village populace in chains, having been attacked by a band of slavers. It wasn't long before the young man was spotted, and though he put up a valiant fight, clapped into irons along with his family and friends - those who hadn't been killed for struggling already.

Yet, fate turned again, and the pirate ship was overtaken several weeks later, by a ship bearing the flag of a [nearby good kingdom.] After a vicious battle, the naval ship pulled away, Karris on board, as well as a few other survivors... but the pirate ship was sunk, taking his loved ones with it.

Today, a half-dozen years later, Karris is living his dream of being a sailor, albeit via a twisted route he would have never chosen. He stayed on with the sailors, who turned out to be "honest pirates," bearing a letter of marquis from the local lord. A demon with a bow, Karris is generally up on the highest mast, keeping a lookout and always to first to begin showering an enemy ship with arrows... reserving a special hatred for slavers.

Of course, if someone's character is picked, announcements will be made. Also, the character's adventures will begin to appear in the Spider Moon Campaign journal on the Story Hour forum (is there any post into which I cannot fit a gratuitous story hour pimping? I think not!:) ).

Athough he is tall, he walks most of the time bent, keeping his head down and glancing his surroundings under his strong eyebrows. Virog is an exile from the elven society, he has lived in the wilderness relying on his skills to survive. As a result he has adopted the fighting style of the wild predator, using his bladed gauntlets as claws.

For beginnig at next level Virog is planned to be taking the bear warrior prestice class.
 

An update for contributors

Well last Friday we had our session.

First, several players couldn't show.

Second, after flicking through the available characters, one player decided she'd stick with waht she's got, another came up with a completely independent idea.

Anyway, there's still hope - also, I'll probably introduce some characters as npcs.

One or two of these characters may also be picked up but in modified form (Kayla the Blade will form the basis of my wife's new character - we took the family to Treasure Planet on the weekend and she wants to play a character like the ship's captain).

Further updates as events warrant.
