TD, in the future could you please link to your die roll results in your posts. It will speed things up a great deal. I found your roll results for character creation and you're good to go — but there were a lot of rolls, many of them unlabeled, so it took me a while to figure out what rolls went where (BTW, thanks for being honest and taking the first set of attributes that you rolled using the 3d6 method). Also, cultural weapons for Valheim are axes, heavy (i.e., two-handed) swords, and spears. FWIW, they're listed on page 66 of the Culture Book alongside Djanesborg and Novarask.

We have one more player who will be joining us sometime next week, but I plan to kick things off on Monday 11/16. I'll post the introduction here, in a thread entitled (appropriately enough) "Chronicles of the Perilous Lands."

You bet. I'll link my dice rolls from now on.

Not sure how I missed the listing on pg. 66, but thanks. Since Knute's a cleric, can he use his culture's weapons, or are they still forbidden? It looks like he'll be a little bigger, too: 6', and 210 lbs. With a strength of only 8, maybe I should nickname him Knute the Stout? :)

Is there a more elegant way to roll d%?

He knows how to use his culture's weapons, but his profession forbids it. So, that is to say that he wouldn't suffer a penalty for being non-proficient with the weapons in question, but that he may face punitive measures from his superiors in the Temple should he pick up those arms.

Yes. Insert "1d100" in the "Dice" field.

I have started the Actual Play thread here and an OOC discussion thread here.

After reading my initial post in the AP thread, please adjourn to the OOC thread to brainstorm how your character meet and/or know each other prior to posting in the AP thread. After this has been established, you please post your conclusions in the OOC thread and then proceed to roleplay necessary introductions in the AP thread. If DM adjudication is needed (frex, if you want to start an adventure in media res), I'll jump in.

After introductions are made or an 'establishing scene' framed, we can begin play in earnest.
