Well we do have three editions of rapid release that have all failed to triple the fan base so there is at least some evidence that rapid release does not equate to greater appeal.

Note that simply paying attention to the rest of my post would address your reply. If the best reply you can muster is to call the blatant rhetorical hyperbole out as hyperbole, then that speaks to the depth of your position.

What age? All three previous WotC editions died after 2 or 3 years. 5 years if we're being generous.

That's not much time between reboots.
Yeah, yeah. We've been around this logically broken block before.
If you consider 3E/3.5/PF to be completely different editions, then I simply don't consider your commentary to be adequately thoughtful.

I can't do anything about that and it doesn't change anything.
