War domain

If there was a god with the War domain whose favored weapon was an exotic one, would you still get the weapon profiecency and weapon focus feats for that weapon?

Right, because none of the PH gods with the War domain have exotic weapons as favored weapons. If their were, then it could work the same way.

Are there any in like the FR diety book? I don't recall ever seeing any. Personally, I have no problem with this as the weapon has great significance to the preisthood. I think allowing them the EQP helps define the character.

Without looking it up, I seem to recall a couple have Dwarven WarAxe/Bastard Sword. But those are easy as you just give Martial Prof, allowing Two-Handed use.

A few have Shuriken as favored weapon.
Llira for one, from memory when researching my Shuriken Smackdown.

Personally, I'd give proficiency but not focus. Yes, this is a house rule.

Just from a brief check of the books, I did not see any gods with the war domain, that had a exotic favored weapon. This was from the Deties & Demigods, Players handbook, and Forgoten Realms books.
