I'm making a Warblade for a one-on-one setup, arena style. I need a Warblade who can go toe to toe with almost any build, and would love some assistance. One of the mains problems I have trouble with is spellcasters (duh) specifically, keeping them in a spot where I can beat them up. I can't do much if I can't hit them, after all.

Travel Devotion
Sudden Leap
Pouncing Charge
Battle Jump
... ways to move long distances and still do massive full attacks.

Caster should still beat you, but at least you will say "If I had had one more round, I would've curb-stomped you!"

There is the stand still feat if you have a reserve power point of one(Half-Giant) giving up one of your attacks of opportunity you roll as if you for damage. Then add 10 and that it is the fortitude DC they need to beat in order to move. So combat reflexes would help as well and mageslayer, can't defensively cast against you. Since you are a warblade you don't have to worry about spells/spell-like abilities. Martial Study(Devoted Spirit) also will edge you in to possibly get the thicket of blades stance which allows attacks of opportunity for any type of movement in your threatened are. Being a Half-Giant plus the item called strong arm bracers allows you to wield huge weapons. Then maybe a exotic weapon proficiency(spiked chain) for length and striking ease, though a huge goliath greathammer would do more damage and still have a 15 ft strike radius.

Then add 10 and that it is the fortitude DC they need to beat in order to move, it doesn't actually do damage but it forces them to stay put. What ECL are you building to? Cause too low of level, and you won't have all of your pieces in play. Too high of level, and you'll get curb stomped by Contingency Celerity cheese or worse, Genesis/Astral Projection cheese.
