Warcraft RPG update

So how is your Warcraft game going so far? Run into any snags that you have to house rule your way out of?

I am kinda waiting on the other books to come out before running it, but am just wondering how some of the new classes are working out in a campaign. Are there any out-of-control Tinkers? How does the game feel with firearms?

Feel free to post these feelings and more, or direct me to a story hour that could help out.

Thanks -

Some of us tried to get a PbP WCRPG game started when the Core book came out, but we couldn't find a DM. D'oh!

I'm waiting for all the books to come out before I buy them. The world of Warcraft is big enough that one should have all the information available...

Then, I'll buy AEG's Empires and maybe run a PBEM campaign where the PCs are warlords organising domains and armies, to really simulate the feel of a Warcraft game. The PCs would be Heroes, building and leading troops into battle against other enemy Heroes..

...And I definetly wouldn't limit myself to the default Warcraft entities, and add my own ideas, such as creating new Units for established races, and building up other races with units. Gnomes could be a full-fledged race with mecha-like and robot-like units, for exemple.

I bought the warcraft campaign setting, and insinuated much of it onto my homebrew world. It's affected it much for the better, but nobody's opted to play a tinker yet.

Healers have supplanted clerics, but no divine casters, and nobody's opted to play a scout.

I've been tempted to mix elements of WC, Arcana Unearthed and 3.5 since I got WC and AU, but I haven't been able to get it all worked out yet and have the time to put it together. I think there's a lot to steal from WC for other games (especially the Orcs and Half-orcs! 3.5 HO's suck on toast.).

I'm using a lot of Warcraft inspired elements in my Savage Worlds Last Legends homebrew. Converting things over is super easy. I especially like WC's orcs, tauren, and their take on dwarves.
