Warcraft RPG

Okay, so am I the only one looking forward to this ?

The way I see it, is that while the Warcraft world may not have anything terribly original, it is still a very well-constructed and illustrated world. Those guys at Blizzard know their stuff, and their work is beautiful. Maps, monsters, fun names, good storylines and a great sense of humor (You gotta love those voice quotes! "This is my boomstick!").

And Sword & Sorcery have yet to release a product that didn't at least look fantastic. Why am I excited about this setting? Sure I loved the game, but mostly I'm just a sucker for cool looking concept art, and those Blizzard designers have been working on this world for a long time.

"you got a chip on your shoulder.."
"yaah, and a bit of fish too."

Dohp! That's what I get for posting after I've been on vacation for 3 weeks.

Everything I needed to know. Thanks, Wayside.

I take it then, that you didn't read Denizens of Darkness or the Tome or Horrors or the Creature Collection? All three had some great monsters but were trully ugly books, especially for the company that made them.

You didn't like the art in D0D, CC, or ToH? I really liked the art, it was, in my opinion, very evocative.

Don't mistunderstand me. I think there was some good art but there were some truly horrible pieces and when I say that, I mean I could do better and I don't think I'm much of an artist. All three books could've been much more definitive if the art was kicked up about two notches. I'm really hoping that the revised Creature Collection is top notch all the way through.
