Warduke is coming to Dungeon #105

Thats sound about right for Venger. Thanks, I understand what you mean about the elf and the old elf class. I'm interested in seeing this because it seems more official if the stats come from someone else :D

This makes me happier than Barsoomcore's gaming stewardreses.

Is that wrong?
What Mercule said. Oh and you have the additional excuse of not having SEEN said stewardesses and so there's always the risk that they're in fact hideous and you would have thrown away something grand (like Warduke) for something disappointing.

I, on the other hand, although thrilled about Warduke, am happier to be DMing stewardesses...

If the Dungeonmaster was Venger's father who the demon was his mother? Is tiamat Venger's sister (Dungeonmaster sure got around for a short bald guy :D )?

The one that's giving me the most trouble is Peralay. The stats I have for all these guys are in OD&D, and in that far-away time, the "Elf" class was basically always a fighter/magic user. Given the rules for converting from earler editions of D&D to 3.5e, I am having trouble converting him in such a way that he still has all the spells he is credited with in the original writeup. :)

This may not help much but it is semi-official, I think. Have you checked the Character Conversion section of the 3e Mystara website? They have a table converting an OD&D elf level to 3e. Ultimately, you have to make some decisions about which spells he can have in 3e.

I don't think that Venger is that sort of half-fiend; I always assumed that he was corrupted by He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and transformed into what we see in the cartoon. I also assumed that DM never appeared in his true form (at least one fanfic writer speculated that he's Bahamut *shrug*), what he and Big V actually look like is up for speculation.

I'd be willing to wager that the good sorceress Zandorra is Venger's mother; we've met V's sister (Kareena). His relationship with Tiamat is murky, at best, but he's definitely afraid of her.

I would be even more psyched if they got Tim Truman to come back and do the art...

We had to settle for a new artist called Wayne Reynolds. I think he might be British.

Tiamat is that great-grandma with bad teeth that is always following Venger around and trying to pinch his cheeks and get a kiss.

Why do you think he screamed that way every time he saw her? :)

Sounds like Eriks been a smoking....

and he needs to stop before he starts blowing more smoke up his own.... ;)

let me just say for the record: The Shady Dragon Inn and Quest for the Heartstone were the worst products ever produced for any RPG. EVAR.
