Warforged and the Durable Armour Enhancement

-Dungeonscape- introduces the Durable Armour enhancement. In a nutshell it makes the armour immune to rusting attacks and acid. It states that the wearer is not protected from the acid damage.

How would this effect a Warforged that added this enhancement to its composite plating?

I disagree. Clearly the armor isn't the main part of the warforged. After all there is the unarmored body feat that effectively makes a warforged without the composite plating. I'd say any magic composite plating couldn't be destroyed by rust attacks and might consider having them do reduced damage (half).

It seems obvious to me: the warforged's composite plating would be immune to rusting attacks and acid. The warforged itself would be affected just as a human wearing a suit of durable armor would.

Which is to say - "not at all". Naked humans tend to laugh at rust attacks.

In the interest of Keeping It Simple:

The Warforged's composite plating (read, the metally bits) are immune to rust and acid. The non-metally bits that make up the rest of the Warforged are already immune to rust, but still quite suceptable to acid.

The parts of the Warforged that are vulnerable to rust, arn't, but there are still plenty of parts that are still vulnerable to acid.

End Result: the Warforged is immune to rust attacks, but still vulnerable to acid as normal.
