Warlock - Ability Focus (eldritch blast) Question

I've been wondering whether or not Ability Focus (eldritch blast) adds its usual +2 modifier on the save DC of the eldritch blast's eldritch essence effects (frightful blast, sickening blast etc.)? Is the eldritch blast still the same, despite having been changed by an eldritch essence invocation (or a blast shape invocation for that matter)?

Personally, I think it adds the +2 bonus on any effect used on the eldritch blast, but I could be wrong... Does anyone know?

Frightful Blast, Sickening Blast, et centera merely augment the Eldritch Blast, but it's still an Eldritch Blast. All Eldritch Blast modifiers apply to the other, augmented forms.

This is correct. See the "Errata for Warlocks?" thread for the same question answered officially by Wizards for the "Maximise Spell-like Ability" et al feats.
