An idea struck me that since normal wizards/sorcerer's get their magic from The Weave, why not make a PC class that used the Shadow Weave instead. I was thinking of giving them Shadow Weave Magic at 1st level, and as they advance in levels they gain bonuses to their DC's to spells they cast from the Shadow School's, but their penalties to casting from other schools would increase also to balance it out. I was also thinking of giving them bonus feats at certain levels were they can pick from Tenacious Magic, Pernicious Magic, and Insidious Magic, they could also pick a Meta Magic feat or Skill Focus in certain class skills. I was wanting them to spontaneously cast like a sorcerer and give them spells per day and spells known as a sorcerer, and CHA would be their primary ability, since their casting is innate. Could someone please help me with making this class, some are gonna say it looks like a Shadow Adept spread into 20 levels. And some will say it needs to be a PrC, but I think would work better as a PC class.
